Students may tell you that they were having technical issues connecting to a quiz, but you want more than just their word. It is not always possible to verify these problems, but we can gather some clues in Canvas. Follow the steps below to put on your deerstalker hat and sleuth it out.
View Attempts in Progress
By default, when the instructor goes into Grade Quiz, only the quizzes that have been submitted are displayed. If the student has not submitted the quiz, it is in progress. Click here to view outstanding quiz attempts.
To gather some clues as to whether the student was having technical issues, you need to access the Quiz Event Log.
If your quiz allows multiple attempts, you can view those other attempts.
